This morning I had a slight fender bender in Chicago, nothing really serious. What happened was that some guy rear-ended me with 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. I was on stop light near the Lake in Chicago and all of the sudden my 07 Toyota Corolla was slightly pushed, in right away I looked to my rear view mirror and saw the guy coming out of his Red smaller car.
So I got out as well, walking toward the back of my car and automatically looked into the bumper area. Oh well, nobody was hurt I said to the guy and we can settle this quickly by exchanging the Insurance information and there was no need to call the Police, since it was only a crack on paint, just above the license place.
He agreed, but said that it would be the best to pay for the repairs by cash! It sounded kind of weird to me, so I told him to wait day or two, because I need to go to Body Shop any place in Chicago to get an estimate and than I will call him first, before reporting the accident to my Insurance Company.
